2014 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series Revealed

Mercedes-Benz  previews the 2014 SLS AMG Black Series ahead of its Los Angeles Auto Show debut. This is one wild ride! Here’s what you need to know about the SLS AMG Black Series: it has a 6.2 liter V-8 engine that delivers 622 horsepower and 468 lb-feet of torque, hits a top speed of 196 mph, and can zoom from 0 to 60 in just 3.5 seconds.

Handling and dynamics have been improved with upgraded ceramic brakes with two-piece rotors, adjustable coil-over suspension, electronically controlled rear differential and a track that has been widened by almost an inch.

Outside, the 2014 SLS AMG Black Series gets 20-inch lightweight forged alloy wheels, standard carbon ceramic brakes, carbon fiber side skirts, carbon fiber front splitter and carbon fiber large rear diffuser.
