In a surprise reveal, Ford delighted Mustang fans at the 2017 North American International Auto Show with an early look at a refreshed 2018 Mustang. Now, with a lower hood and overall more aggressive front end, the Mustang gains Ford’s new 10-speed automatic transmission while losing a V6 option seen mostly in rental car fleets.

Both the remaining 2.3-liter turbo-4 and 5.0-liter V8 engine are updated as well with modest jumps in output.

The 2018 Ford Mustang reaches dealers this fall.
