Seeking shelter from winter’s chill in January inside Detroit’s Cobo Center has been a long tradition in the auto industry. However, we’ve been hearing rumors lately about The North American International Auto Show changing its dates. Automotive News is reporting the debate has been fueled by some automakers pulling out of the show, as well as changes in the industry as a whole. The speculation has been moving the show to October or June. Automotive News says a decision will be announced July 24, 2018. It appears NAIA is still slated for January 2019, but a teaser video indicates something new is planned for 2020. Take a look at the video.
