Porsche is adding a new Cayenne E-Hybrid to the line-up. The turbo 3.0-liter V6 combines with an electric motor to generate total system output of 455 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque. EV range = 27-miles. Porsche says it will go 0-60 in 4.7 seconds. The price starts at $79,900 when it goes on sale in early 2019.

At the 2018 Beijing Auto Show, BMW unveiled a near production ready concept for a battery electric crossover utility dubbed the iX3. The compact BMW iX3 will be assembled, at least initially, in China and exported around the world, including to the U.S. Look for the iX3 to arrive sometime in 2020.
