With its all-new, fifth-generation RAV4, Toyota is aiming to break new ground in the compact SUV market, a niche it helped create with the original RAV4 22 years ago.  The new RAV4 carries a tougher, more adventurous persona, with styling themes borrowed from Toyota’s pickups, along with a more robust all-wheel-drive system.  The 2019 RAV4 promises to bring new levels of refinement to the class as well, with a wealth of safety and technology features, enhanced comfort, and engines that are both more powerful and more efficient.  Sales start in December, with base pricing around $26,500.
