At the Audi Brand Summit in Shenzhen, China today, Audi unveiled its long rumored range topping Q8 crossover-coupe. The new Q8 not only represents the leading edge of Audi sport-utility design when it comes to technology and functionality, but it also is the first production model to sport the brand’s new face for SUVs, seen in concept form only last year, as well as an updated and more linear interior theme.

Compared to the Q7, the new Q8 is wider and lower, has standard seating for five, plus a generous cargo bay. As fitting a premium SUV, standard mechanical features are plentiful and include quattro all-wheel-drive, adaptive damping suspension, and a mild-hybrid 48-volt electrical system. Powertrains are otherwise expected to be similar to the Q7, which includes a 3.0-liter supercharged V6.

The 2019 Audi Q8 will be available in the U.S. this fall.
