Bentley Motors has revealed the brand’s first SUV, the Bentayga, to VIPs, customers and media at the British Embassy in Washington, DC.

“A car rolls off a British production line every 20 seconds, and nearly 80 percent of those cars are exported to markets like the US,” says British Ambassador Sir Peter Westmacott. “ Bentley is a great example of the UK’s manufacturing excellence. The Bentley brand is synonymous with British quality – from its innovation to its excellence in design.”

The Bentayga was designed and engineered in Crewe, UK, and keeps with the brand's hand crafted heritage; blending luxury with performance and everyday usability. The Bentayga has an all-new 6.0 liter W12 powertrain, allegedly making it the fastest and most powerful SUV in the world. It's said to offer the unique Bentley driving experience while showcasing innovative technology features.

Bentley Motors announced full details of the Bentayga in September, making its first public debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Bentley expects customer deliveries to arrive in early 2016.
