Chevrolet Corvette Stingray to Start at $51,995
Not too much sting in the Stingray price. GM says the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray coupe starts at $51,995, while the convertible will start at $56,995. That’s about a $1,400 increase over the previous model.
So what do you get for the extra dough? The seventh generation Corvette has more standard features beginning with a new seven-speed manual transmission with Active Rev Matching, and an all-new 6.2-liter V-8 engine, with direct injection and active cylinder deactivation. The 2014 Stingray has an aluminum frame that is 99 pounds lighter than the previous generation, a carbon fiber hood on all models, and a carbon fiber removable roof panel on the coupes. Inside are dual, eight-inch configurable driver/infotainment screens, with the next-generation Chevrolet MyLink infotainment system and a rear vision camera.
