Mercedes Benz has something new to tempt luxury customers.  They released a video teaser of the new E-Class Coupe.  Take a look.  It’s 15 seconds of pure anticipation.  They say it makes its first appearance tomorrow, so stay tuned for that!

The wait is finally over for a few customers of the new Chevrolet Bolt.  The first three electric vehicles have been delivered to customers in California.  More drivers in California and Oregon can get behind the wheel later this month.  Sales begin in the rest of the country next year.  Until then take a look at this “behind the scenes” video:

A bright spotlight will be shining on hands-free driving technology.  Delphi Automotive and Mobileye will demonstrate their automated driving system at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas next month.  They plan to show how their technology interacts with the real world on the road.  Delphi says the automated driving system will be ready for production in 2019.

Decisions… decisions.  A luxury SUV or a luxury car?  The decision is becoming clearer for more buyers.  The Luxury Market Report from Edmunds.com says luxury SUVs will outsell luxury cars in the U.S. for the first time this year.  Their research shows 55-percent of premium buyers will choose the bigger rides this year… and up to 60-percent next year.  They say low gas prices factor in the decision to ride high in style.
