Fiat 500 Abarth to Debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show
A high-performance version of the Fiat 500 is headed to the U.S. The Fiat 500 Abarth will make its debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show in mid-November. Back in the 1950s and 1960s, Karl Abarth was a legendary tuner who designed racing versions of the original Fiat 500. Faithful to the ‘small but wicked’ saying coined for Abarth’s cars, the new 2012 Fiat 500 Abarth will be equipped with a 1.4-liter MultiAir Turbo engine, a performance-tuned suspension and brake systems. Fiat says the car is designed for track-day enthusiasts and driving-purists who want the ultimate high-performance small car with the pedigree of an exclusive Italian exotic. The 2012 Fiat 500 Abarth will be the third version of the Fiat 500 in the U.S.
