Ford to Show Focus ST, ST-R and Fiesta ST in LA
When you think of Ford and performance, you think Mustang and muscle. But that's about to change. For the fiirst time ever, Ford's Sport Technologies badge will be worn by vehicles available in 40 markets, including North America.
The Focus ST and ST-R will be on display at the Los Angeles Auto Show, as well as the Fiesta ST Concept. Ford says its ST badge represents exhilarating performance, excellent handling, addictive sound and sporty design.
The all-new Focus ST features aggressively enhanced front and rear bumpers, adds a rear spoiler and side skirts, and is offered in five unique colors. It is powered by Ford's fuel efficient 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine.
The Fiesta ST Concept is equipped with a turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder Ford EcoBoost engine that delivers 180 horsepower. Its silhouette is inspired by the Fiesta RS WRC.
"Fiesta has a rich history of high-performance models so a new ST performance model is a logical next step in our performance vehicle strategy," said Derrick Kuzak, Ford group vice president.
