Ford has its eye on global markets unveiling the all-new Focus. Depending on the market, the Focus will appear as a 4-door sedan, 5-door wagon or 5-door hatchback.   Ford says this is part of their global strategy to use common architectures and modules while tailoring body styles, models and engines to specific markets.  The Chinese market will get a 1.0-liter EcoBoost engine, and an all-new 1.5-liter EcoBoost engine.  The options for European drivers will include a 2.0-liter EcoBlue diesel. Ford has not said what will power the Focus in North America.  They are offering a new optional 8-speed automatic transmission.  The all-new Focus goes on sale in Europe and China this year, and North America in the second half of 2019.
