Mass production of the all-new 2019 Honda Insight hybrid begins this week in Greensburg, Indiana with three plants in Ohio providing the powertrain components. Honda invested $61.5 million in upgrades to the four plants, including a new 19,200 sf building expansion at Honda Manufacturing of Indiana (HMIN) for assembly of the vehicle’s front-end module.  HMIN will build all Insight models for the North American market, alongside Civic and CR-V models on the same line.
