Jaguar made plenty of headlines at the Los Angeles Auto Show, but not everything was on the cutting edge...

Nine examples of the 1957 XKSS made their world debut, built to exact period-correct specifications by the Jaguar Classics team. They say all nine are already spoken for.

Considered the world's first supercar, the XKSS was a "road-going conversion of the Le Mans-winning D-type, which was built from 1954-1956." It features a 3.4-liter straight-six engine making 262-horsepower.

Sporting a Sherwood Green paintjob, all nine examples sold for over $1 million.
