In advance of the upcoming 2018 Paris Motor Show Mercedes-Benz has released photos and highlights of its 4th generation GLE crossover utility. Still firmly situated as their mid-size luxury go-to model, the new GLE is a significant step up in virtually all areas over its predecessor. Once known as the M Class, the new GLE Class is roomier inside, has a sophisticated, also new all-wheel drive system, and boasts the highest level of technology yet for a utility from the brand. Besides a suite of semi-autonomous driving features, the new GLE will feature a 48-volt electrical system. The system powers a new adjustable suspension system that allows individual settings for each wheel. The top GLE 450 4Matic will be powered by 3.0-liter inline-6 that will include an integral electric motor system dubbed EQ Boost. The base engine in the GLE 350 4Matic will be a 2.0-liter turbo-4. Look for the GLE to arrive here in the spring of next year.
