Off-Road Expedition, Jaguar Hiring, & Crosstrek Price
The 2018 Ford Expedition will be better equipped to handle expeditions beyond the pavement. The company has announced an FX4 Off-Road Package. As in the F-150, it includes off-road-tuned shocks, electronic limited-slip rear differential, and skid plates. Ford says more than 20 percent of Expedition owners take their SUV off-road. Sales start in the fall.
Polish up your resume, Jaguar Land Rover is hiring. Reuters is reporting the British carmaker plans to hire 5,000 people. They say the extra employees will be needed to meet the demand of autonomous and electric technology. Jaguar’s first electric vehicle, the I-PACE, is expected to go on sale next year.
Subaru has announced pricing for the 2018 Crosstrek. The company says it will start at $22,710 for a base 2.0i with manual transmission, just $100 over the current Crosstrek. For the first time, owners of that base trim can also opt for a CVT. The 2018 Subaru Crosstrek goes on sale later this summer.
