Yesterday, at the sixth annual Rennsport Reunion held at the WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, Porsche unveiled a new iteration of the Porsche 935. Porsche truly went all out with the 935 and based it on the already insane 911 GT2 RS, which we track tested recently. The nostalgic throwback to the race cars of LeMans fame is powered by a 3.8L twin turbo flat-six that transfers 700 horsepower to the wheels through a 7-speed PDK transmission. The new 935 also features taillights and rear body-work from the 919 LMP1 car. The 935 is almost like a Porsche’s Greatest Hits album with everything down to the tail-pipes acting as a callback to race-winning Porsches from the past. Pricing for the United States has not been announced and production is limited to just 77 total units.
