As if we really needed more self-driving cars on the road, now there’s an effort by The Greater New York Automobile Dealers Association to bring them to the Empire State.  It’ll take some cooperation from the local legislature, because as of right now, state law requires drivers to keep at least one hand on the wheel (always a good practice that we also recommend!).  This and other future trends in the automotive industry will be discussed at The Empire State of Mobility Conference onWednesday, April 12, 2017 leading up to the New York International Auto Show.

If you’re tired of seeing Dodge Challenger SRT Demon teaser videos, well than you’re out of luck, as we’ve got one more for you.  FCA has released the thirteenth video in the series, prior to the car’s intro next week in NYC.  The latest is called “Fuel”, and focuses on… you guessed it... fuel, or at least some type of green fuel-like substance that gets injected into the car and causes severe awesomeness.  What does it all mean?!?!?!?!  Well hopefully we’ll find out just before the New York International Auto Show next week.  Here’s the link: www.ifyouknowyouknow.com

If you have some type of un-American aversion to chrome trim, GM may be able to help you out with a new RST series of the Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban.  The Rally Sport Trucks will instead feature body-colored trim throughout.  You’ll also get 22” wheels and black roof rails.  Further optional upgrades include Borla exhaust, Brembo brakes, and a Performance Package that includes Magnetic Ride Control, a 6.2L V8, and a 10-speed automatic transmission.
