Tesla plans to build cars in China. Bloomberg is reporting Tesla reached a “preliminary agreement” with the government in Shanghai to build a plant, which they say could produce 500,000 electric vehicles a year. They report Tesla is still getting permits, but construction could begin soon. China is the world’s largest market for electric vehicles.
