The Tesla Model 3 has moved from the assembly line to the road.  The first 30 of the compact electric cars have been handed over to employee buyers.  The Model 3 seats 5 and has a range of 220 - 310 Miles.  Tesla expects the standard model starting at $35,000 before incentives to be available in November. The version available now has a Long Range Battery with rear-wheel drive and premium upgrades, starting at $49,000.

Cadillac is changing with the times, offering fewer sedans and more utility vehicles.  Cadillac President Johan de Nysschen told Reuters the premium brand will offer a new car called the CT5.  They report Cadillac will not directly replace the XTS, CTS or ATS sedans at the end of 2019.  The CT5 sedan will be between $35,000 and $45,000.  Reuters says Cadillac will produce more SUVs, including a compact model called the XT4.
