Uber is looking for a new CEO. The New York Times is reporting Travis Kalanick has resigned.  They say five of the company’s major investors demanded he step down immediately.  The Times also reports Kalanick will remain on Uber’s board of directors.

Jaguar is adding a compact performance SUV to the PACE line-up.  The company has announced the new Jaguar E-PACE.  They’ll begin selling them early next year with a starting price of $38,600. We’ll know more at the world reveal scheduled for July 13, 2017

Orders start today for the 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon.  Dodge’s new 840-horsepower beast starts at $84,995… including $1,700 gas guzzler tax.  Look for them at dealerships this fall.

European customers will have something new to consider from Kia.  The Korean company has announced the new Kia Stonic compact crossover.  They’re hoping to tap into the growing B-SUV market.  Sales begin in Europe in a few months.

Volkswagen is moving forward with plans for electric vehicles.  Auto Express is reporting the I.D. Buzz will be built.  MotorWeek showed you the concept at the 2017 North American International Auto Show in Detroit. Volkswagen has recently revealed three concepts based on their new MEB electric vehicle architecture.  The company wants to build one million electric vehicles annually by 2025.

Volvo is racing ahead to build high performance electrified cars.  The premium car maker says Polestar will become a new separately-branded car company.  Polestar has been Volvo’s performance car arm.  The two companies will share technology and engineering, but Polestar cars will no longer carry a Volvo logo.  More plans are expected to be revealed in the fall.
