If you tow a trailer and experience electrical problems, how do you know whether the electrical problems are in the trailer or in the tow vehicle?  Well, now from Innovative Products of America we have testers.  They come in sizes that fit all of the popular trailer connectors.  Simply plug them in, operate the different electrical functions on the vehicle, the lights light up to tell you if each one of those is working.  If there’s no problem found in the tow vehicle you know the trouble is in the trailer and that saves you half of the testing time.

You might also tow multiple trailers with the same vehicle, and this adaptor can do a great job because it has all of the popular sizes of trailer connectors built into one unit. Just plug it in, connect up whatever trailer you want.

And here’s something from Lets Go Aero.  This is what is called a silent hitch pin, really clever, that goes into the trailer hitch like this, you line it with the hole, then you put the bolt through it and use a wrench to tighten it up.  It does away with all that rattling and clattering that goes on from a conventional hitch pin.

And again from Lets Go Aero, the Gear Space 34.  Lots of you have vehicles that are much larger than you really need and you buy them why? Because you need extra space two or three times a year.  Well this is a good solution: buy a sensible sized vehicle and use something like this that fits into the receiver in the hitch on the vehicle – it has a cord that plugs into the trailer connecter, has lights for the turn signals and brakes and taillights, holds a lot of gear, easy to install, no more on the top so that it decreases a lot of fuel economy, and in addition to that, to get it on – one person can do it, fold the legs up and away you go. Very, very handy piece of equipment.
