Winter and snow: a real nuisance, and it can actually be dangerous and damage your vehicle.  Well, I have three things that can make life a little less bothersome during the winter.

Number one, this is an E-Blade, a windshield wiper blade.  You say, well, what’s special about this?  Well, the problem with a lot of late-model cars is they may have multiple size blades on the car, and you don’t want to carry a whole bunch of blades with you, so this one is designed with little marks on it.  You measure the size of the blade on your car and you snap this off.  Well, now you have the rubber remaining.  They even give you a cigar cutter, so you go over the rubber, cut the rubber off, and you have an emergency wiper blade that will fit just about anything.

All right, now here’s a neat one.  This is a HeatTrak.  This is designed to melt snow.  It can be used in the driveway, it could be used on the sidewalk, on the porch, whatever.  You can’t drive on it, but it does melt snow. And for us car guys, a really neat feature with this—suppose you have to do something in the garage, and even if you have a heated garage, the floor-the concrete-is going to be cold.  Plug it in, lay on it…it is great!

Now the vehicle itself. You know, whenever you have snow, usually you have road chemicals, salt and stuff like that.  Well, here we have Eastwood’s Salt Neutralizer.  Now all you do with it is you get the salt neutralizer, you mix it in a regular garden sprayer and you spray it up underneath the vehicle.  Now what this is going to do, it’s going to neutralize the salt and prevent that damage where the salt eats away at the underside of your car.  Great product.

So, three things that make winter a whole lot more livable.
