2011 Cadillac CTS-V Sport Wagon
We're not sure how many Euro-philes are really interested in a high performance "V" version of Cadillac's CTS Sport Wagon, but whoever you are, thanks, because this wagon kicks some serious asphalt.
Sleeper is the rule with this hot hauler. With the only obvious changes to the exterior being a new V mesh grille up front and a slightly raised hood which only hints at the 556-horsepower supercharged V8 monster that lies beneath. Zero to 60 passes get carried away in just over 4 seconds.
Out back it remains all stock CTS Sport Wagon, though keen observers will notice a slightly wider stance. Road manners remain very compliant and not harsh at all, consistent with the V-series sedan and coupe, thanks to magnetic ride control.
Inside you'll find a new steering wheel and comfortable, supportive leather seats, both trimmed with suede; Recaros are optional. You'll also find the shifter for the standard six-speed manual transmission. When in full grocery getter mode, the 25.4 cubic feet of rear cargo space expands to a reasonable 58 cubic feet when you fold the rear seats.
"It's hard to find a car that feels just as at home in the mall parking lot as it does in the corkscrew at Laguna Seca. Throw in weekend runs to Home Depot and that list gets even shorter, but the CTS-V Wagon can handle all that without breaking a sweat." – Brian Robinson
So, if you're looking for a wagon that really hauls, be prepared to shell out just over $62,000 for the CTS-V Sport Wagon. It's in dealerships now.
