Among the numerous annual automotive awards, the North American Car, Utility and Truck of the Year awards are the only ones selected by a jury of 50 independent auto writers. So, here are the winners this year.

The 2020 North American Car of the Year is the totally re-engineered Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. The first production Corvette with the engine mounted behind the driver.

The 2020 North American Utility of the Year went to the Kia Telluride. The Telluride has three rows of seating and enough cargo room and tech to satisfy most every modern family.

And finally, the 2020 North American Truck of the Year was awarded to the Jeep Gladiator. The Gladiator impressed the jury with its unique combination of comfort, utility, and go-anywhere ruggedness.

Big winners all around! And, that’s it for this week’s MotorNews.
