Hyundai announced that the 2022 Tucson would be receiving a new XRT trim, which boasts distinctive exterior styling cues and additional interior accoutrements.

The most stand-out feature of the XRT is the design, with an exclusive front and rear fascia, sidelined by XRT-only side cladding. These are finished in matte black. Tying it together is a mixture of other blacked-out features: monotone side mirrors, 19-inch alloy wheels, black-only interior cloth seatings, and black roof rails and tow hitch. Approach lighting and side steps have also been added.

The XRT will add its own flair to the SEL trim, and will be available in either front-wheel or all-wheel drive. Along with all SEL upgrades, the XRT will come standard with the Tucson’s Convenience package (minus the sunroof). This includes a hands-free power liftgate, a 10.25-inch digital instrument panel, wireless device charging, ambient lighting, dual-zone automatic temperature, and Hyundai’s Digital Key connectivity.

After destination fees, the 2022 Hyundai Tucson XRT is priced at $32,625 for the FWD model; $34,125 for the AWD model.
