Subaru has released pricing details for the Outback SUV, redesigned for 2024, and the Legacy sedan.

The 2024 Outback will start at $30,190, which includes the $1,295 destination charge ($1,445 for our Alaskan-based friends). The Legacy starts at $25,985 including the slightly lower destination charge, $1,090 for most states ($1,240 for Alaska).

The Outback is available in a variety of trims and, naturally, a variety of prices, all of which are detailed below. All models come standard with all-wheel drive, a CVT automatic and 8.7-inches of ground clearance (raised to 9.5-inches on the Wilderness). The base model is powered by a 2.5-liter BOXER engine, producing 182 horsepower and 176 lb-ft of torque. Other equipment includes steering responsive headlights, LED fog lights, hill descent control and adaptive cruise control with lane centering.

The top-trim model, the Outback Touring XT, will start at $44,090. The Touring model includes a bunch of amenities, including a 180-degree front-view monitor, a heated steering wheel, LCD rear-view mirror, and Nappa leather. The XT kicks things up a notch by upgrading the powertrain to a 2.4-liter turbocharged BOXER engine.

The lineup for the Legacy should sound familiar. All models come standard with all-wheel drive as well, plus a CVT transmission. The base model is powered by a 2.5-liter BOXER, though it can be swapped for the 260 horsepower 2.4-liter turbocharged BOXER, standard in the Sport and Touring XT. Base models see appointments similar to those listed for the entry Outback, such as steering responsive headlights and EyeSight Driver Assist Technology.

The top-trim Touring XT packages an ensemble of premium features, including Subaru’s 11.6-inch STARLINK infotainment system, a power moonroof, Harman Kardon audio, and Nappa leather.
