BMW has just announced the compact 2 Series Gran Coupe, giving entry-level BMW buyers an extroverted, performance-oriented model that is packed with technology and style with the usability and space of a four-door. The 228i xDrive Gran Coupe is powered by a 228-horsepower, 2.0-liter 4-cylinder, while the M235i xDrive Gran Coupe derives motivation from a tuned version of the same engine, delivering 301 horsepower.  A wheel slip liimitaion system derived from the i3 improves grip in wet or icy conditions, while BMW's Performance Control yaw distribution system and Dynamic Stability Control work with the standard xDrive all wheel drive system to provide dynamic sporty handling.  The 2 Series Gran Coupe will make its public debut at AutoMobility LA in November 2019, with market launch planned for March 2020.
