BMW has just gone public with the details on their 667-horsepower 2022 M5 CS Sedan. The CS is the most powerful and with it, the quickest production car BMW has ever fielded. Compared to the already mighty M5 Competition, the M5 CS is 230 lbs. lighter, is rated at 10-horsepower more, and promises a 0-60 mph time of 2.9 seconds, with a top speed of 190 mph. The M5 CS is slated to be a 2022 model only. Among the numerous unique details about the M5 CS, one on the interior will be very obvious. The 4-place only interior features M carbon sport seats up front, and twin bucket seats in the rear. The M5 CS Sedan is fitted with the S63 4.4-liter M TwinPower turbo V8, that in turn is mated to an 8-speed M Steptronic automatic transmission with Drivelogic and a rear-biased M xDrive allwheel drive system. Understandably the M5 CS will be a rare limited production car when it arrives here in the second half of this year.
