MotorWeek is looking for some treats at this year’s SEMA show.  Among them, the 2018 BMW M5.  The 4.4-liter V8 engine featuring M TwinPower Turbo generates 600 hp and 553 lb-ft of peak torque.  The 6-th generation M5 starts in all-wheel-drive, but can also operate in rear-wheel-drive mode.  BMW will be showing M Performance Parts for the new M5.  The BMW booth will also feature a one of a kind 2018 BMW M3 30 Years American Edition.  The world premiere marks the 30th Anniversary of the M3 in the US.  SEMA 2017 begins tomorrow in Las Vegas.

A lot of Lambos are rolling off the assembly line.  Lamborghini has produced their 7,000th Aventador since they began building them six years ago.  The Aventador S Roadster is heading for the US.  In the three years Lamborghini has been making the Huracán, they’ve produced 9,000.  The latest, a Performante is going to someone in Dubai.
