Cadillac has confirmed various details and pricing on their upcoming 2023 LYRIQ electric SUV, slated for an official launch early next year.

The LYRIQ will start at $62,990, excluding any unconfirmed delivery fees and not taking into account any potential federal tax credits. This price tag is for the rear-wheel drive model; the all-wheel model will start at $64,990.

The RWD model will offer an EPA-estimated 312 miles of range on a full charge. Owners will have the choice between two special charging incentives: two years of unlimited public charging credits at EVgo stations or a credit of up to $1,500 to go towards Level 2 AC home-charger installation through Qmerit. Utilizing Level 2 (AC) charge rates-- up to 19.2 kW-- the LYRIQ can recoup 52 miles of range every hour; DC fast charging bumps up to 190 kW, allowing for 76 miles of range in 10 minutes.

That juice is fed to a 12-module, 100 kWh battery pack. When transferred to the rear motor, the RWD model can pedal 340 horsepower and 325 lb-ft of torque; the AWD version amplifies that to an estimated 500 horsepower.

The 2023 Cadillac LYRIQ is slated for production at GM’s Spring Hill, Tennessee assembly plant. Initial deliveries are expected early 2023.
