Digital filmmaking is taking a big step forward.  Epic Games, The Mill and Chevrolet have joined forces.  The result is a real-time short film and augmented reality presentation called “The Human Race”.  It features the 2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 racing the Chevrolet FNR concept car.  The collaboration allows filmmakers to insert any car model into the project, as opposed to days of rendering required during post-production.  The film debuted today at the Game Developer’s Conference in San Francisco, California.  Here’s your front row seat:

The American appetite for gas is still growing, but it may level off soon. Reuters is reporting demand for gas in the U.S. is expected to peak next year. They point to research by Wood Mackenzie. Analysts say engines are becoming more fuel efficient and more hybrid and electric cars are anticipated to be on the road. They predict the global demand for gas will peak in 2021.
