Dodge has brought back their factory-backed performance parts service, Direct Connection; a list of kits has been revealed by the manufacturer.

The new upgrade kits, such as the “Tuner” and “Stage” levels, are designed to enhance the performance of a Dodge vehicle in a number of ways-- from tunes and roll cages, to full-blown crate engines. Alongside increasing the vehicles capabilities, the objective of Direct Connection is to provide those parts to dealers and consumers while maintaining factory reliability.

The Dodge Challenger will see 14 performance kits; 13 race-ready kits and four graphics packs for the Challenger Mopar Drag Pak. Dodge boasts kits which can boost the Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye to 885 horsepower; The Challenger SRT Hellcat up to 750 horsepower. The full list of parts can be seen here, but some of the highlights include:

Direct Connection Tuner: A plug-and-play engine tuner which allows enthusiasts to upgrade their engine via computer calibration.

Stage I Kit: The first step to the aforementioned kit designed to increase Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye horsepower to 840 horsepower, done by way of a special key code. The Stage II Kit allows for the full boost to 885 horsepower by incorporating a special 3.17-inch “Hellephant” engine pulley.

Challenger Illuminated Air-catcher Headlamp Kit: This adds the look of the 2018-present Challenger air-catchers while also improving airflow.

Challenger Hellcat Widebody Fender Flare and Fascia Kit: Aside from looking wider, this kit allows for bigger tires to be fitted onto the vehicle for increased grip.

Race Suspension Kit: This includes an all-new four-link rear suspension consisting of a fixed lower link, adjustable upper link, a Strange Engineering 9-inch rear end with a 4.11:1 final drive, and more.

This is only a small selection of what Direct Connection pledges to initially offer. Consumers will also be able to pick up full crate engines, including Dodge’s 345 HEMI, 392 HEMI, “Hellcrate” 6.2-liter Supercharged HEMI and “Hellephant” 426 Supercharged HEMI.

Direct Connection parts installed by authorized Dodge Power Brokers (specialized dealerships gear towards the brand’s performance lineup) will be backed by a three year/36,000 mile new vehicle basic warranty, as well as a five year/60,000 miles powertrain limited warranty from the original installation date.

This initiative is part of Dodge’s two year “Never Lift” campaign, providing a roadmap for the manufacturer’s performance future. Ordering for Direct Connection kits will open up during the first quarter of 2021.
