Dodge has unveiled the third and fourth entries into their “Last Call” special edition lineup: the Challenger and Charger “Swinger.”

The Swingers are retro-inspired rides calling back to the brand’s late 60’s and early 70’s muscle car offerings. For those familiar, the name comes from the original Dodge Dart Swinger, a member of the Dodge “Scat Pack” club.

Both the Challenger and Charger are modified versions of the respective R/T Scat Pack Widebody trims, hosting a series of cosmetic changes harkening back to that original Dart– like the “green-on-green” paint scheme replicated by either F8 Green or Sublime Green; White Knuckle is also available. And kicking it old school– or rather gold school— are the various gold trim pieces adorning the Swinger. On the Challenger you’ll find Gold School grille, fender and spoiler badging, plus a painted Shaker intake. The Charger Swinger will see similar gold badging; and both models ride on 20×11-inch Gold School wheels.

Inside, the Swingers are dressed up in Nappa/Alcantara seats with green stitching and a matching Dodge Rhombi logo. Mod Grain wood-like aluminum bezeling is also used throughout, taking things back to the past– aesthetically, at least. They’ll each include all the modern amenities you’ve come to expect in a modern day muscle car, both equipped with the Plus Group interior pack.

Only 1,000 units of each Swinger will be produced. As mentioned in last week’s Super Bee announcement and the prior Shakedown announcement, pricing details will be announced closer to when orders open up later this fall.
