According to Reuters and Fox News, hyper rich electric car fans will have to wait a little while longer for a full-battery powered Ferrari. This week company CEO Louis Camilleri told reporters, at Ferrari’s Maranello factory, that his sense it that it will be at least 2025 before a car worthy of Ferrari's name goes pure EV.  This word comes as Ferrari prepares its first plug-in hybrid, the SF90 Stradale, which will arrive in 2020. Camilleri sited charging station availability and battery technology issues as continuing challenges. Ferrari is no doubt facing some pressure from other sports car marques, notably Porsche with its all-electric Taycan, and the announced new generation Tesla Roadster, to move faster on EVs.
