The Ford Bronco has been one of the most talked about off-road utilities in recent times, joined in the lineup by the Bronco Sport SUV, the latter of which now to receive a new package aimed at off-road adventuring.

The Black DIamond Off-Road Package will be available on Bronco Sports configured with either the Big Bend or Outer Banks trim. This package isn’t an extensive overhaul, but does add a little more character and ruggedness to the Blue Oval’s “baby Bronco.”

First off, the 4×4 powertrain is sheathed by four steel bash plates, including a front skid plate, fuel tank protection and a canister shield. All four corners ride on unique Carbonized Gray 17-inch aluminum wheels, wrapped in 225/65R17 all-terrain rubber.

The rest of the upgrades are more or less aesthetic-only– not like that’s a bad thing. The package includes a matte black hood graphic with the Bronco horse logo embedded within. The side profile is distinguished by exclusive side graphics with “BRONCO” lettering on the front driver and passenger doors.

The Bronco Sport Black Diamond Off-Road Package is available for order now. This new package, while not the most extensive off-road package, sounds like a worthwhile add-on for those seeking more time off the beaten path. And to help guide fledgling off-roaders, Ford has announced that all 2023 Bronco Sport owners and order-holders now receive complimentary access to the “Bronco Off-Roadeo” experience.

Available in Horseshoe Bay, Texas; Mt. Potosi, Nevada; Moab, Utah; and Gilford, New Hampshire; this event takes Bronco customers on miles of curated trails designed to show the capabilities of their new/impending Bronco. The Moab and Texas site will also soon host special Winter Weekend events.
