Ford Motor Company recently made some major announcements. Ford had a very busy week releasing three major announcements all on the same day. Ford announced its new Communications and entertainment system, SYNC 3, which features a faster performance, has enhance voice recognition, a smartphone style touch screen which allows Ford’s customers to connect and control their smartphone while on the road. The SYNC 3 system builds on the capabilities of the SYNC technology, already in 10 million SYNC-equipped vehicles around the globe.

While the introduction of SYNC 3 made the headlines, Ford also announced it will be bring 12 new performance vehicles to worldwide from now through 2020. This will include an all-new Focus RS that will be available to customers in major markets around the globe for the first time ever. Ford has plans to deliver even more performance vehicles, parts and accessories for customers globally faster. The Motor Company also announced their support in the launch of Techstars Mobility, a startup business accelerator program that will foster innovative transportation solutions that will help get rid of the growing global challenges. This includes solutions for traffic congestion, parking, mentorship, training, and recruitment. Techstars Mobility creates a hub for transportation and mobility innovations in the metro Detroit area.
