Ford introduces its all-new 2020 Explorer. This represents a complete redesign of America’s all-time best-selling SUV, and a switch from a front-wheel drive architecture to a rear-wheel drive-style chassis. The new Explorer will feature the broadest model lineup ever with more power, added space, and smart technologies to help tackle life’s adventures. Explorer is now more capable, comfortable, sportier and roomier in all three rows thanks to Ford’s flexible new structure. The new SUV can carry up to seven passengers in three rows, and can tow up to 5,600 lbs. Power will come from I4 and V6 engines, plus a hybrid. The all-new SUV will be one of the stars of the 2019 North American International Auto Show in Detroit which opens to the public next week. The updated Explorer arrives in showrooms this summer.
