Hyundai’s Genesis, which only recently unveiled its first SUV, has topped the most recent J.D. Power survey on longer term dependability. The 2020 Vehicle Dependability Study is a measure of the first three years of ownership experiences. Genesis, with only two current models, pushed Toyota’s Lexus lineup to second place. Lexus held the top spot for eight prior years. General Motor’s Buick brand ranks third, and is the highest ranking mass market brand. According the the study, Jaguar, Chrysler, and Land Rover held the bottom three spots.
