The Honda Accord midsize sedan will be all-new in 2023, and the automaker has released a trio of teaser images to get the hype train rolling.

The next model year will debut the 11th-gen Accord, slated to return with new styling, a “more responsive and fun-to-drive hybrid powertrain,” and more technology. The official reveal is next month, but for now we can whet our appetites with these silhouetted images.

First we get a view of the front, sporting a new upper and lower grille. Bookending either end are new headlights, defined on their upper edge by a thin LED strip. The general vibe from the front is something sharper and more athletic in appearance. From what we can see, the surfaces appear simpler and more angular where they intersect, again playing into that chiseled appearance.

The aft image shows a near-monolithic taillight feature traveling edge to edge, bisected by the Honda badge dead center. Uptop is a small spoiler built into the rear deck. At the bottom is a black diffuser, tailpipes unseen. The placement of lighting fixtures and markers is similar to the outgoing model it replaces; however, again we see the smooth surfaces more defined intersections.

Our last image shows the infotainment system, displaying Honda’s first built-in Google integration. To the right, a readout of the Accord’s hybrid system. To the left of that, all the unmistakable markings of a Google user interface: Play Store, Google Assistant and, of course, Google Maps. Smartphone projection also seems to be an option.

We’re excited to see what the 11th-gen Accord brings to the table for 2023, especially considering how much we’ve enjoyed some of the more recent models, like the 2021 Accord Hybrid, as well as the 11th-gen Civic. Stay tuned to MotorWeek for next month’s reveal!
