The IONIQ 5, Hyundai’s newest EV SUV and first to be built on their E-GMP platform, has been given official pricing across all trims and powertrains.

The 2022 IONIQ 5 will be available in seven different configurations. Trims include an SE Standard Range, SE, SEL and Limited; each, with the exception of the standard range, can be outfitted in either Rear or All Wheel Drive. All prices reported will include a $1,225 freight charge.

The starting model is the SE Standard Range, sold exclusively as a RWD model. It features a 168 horsepower rear motor with a range of 220 miles. Every model of the IONIQ 5 benefits from Hyundai’s partnership with Electrify America; unlimited 30-minute charging sessions for two years. Starting MSRP of the SE Standard Range is $40,925.

The SE can be outfitted with a RWD configuration putting down 225 horsepower and extending the range out to 303 miles. This model starts at $44,875; however, a more powerful AWD version of the SE goes for $48,375. This model is capable of 320 horsepower, but with a reduced range of 256 miles.

This same configuration plot carries over to the SEL and Limited trims. The SEL RWD model will MSRP for $47,125; the AWD for $50,600. The Limited RWD will start at $51,825 and the AWD version will start at $55,725.

All models will feature 800-volt, 350 kW fast charging technology and a suite of standard safety features, such as Highway Drive Assist, Smart Cruise Control, Forward Collision Avoidance, Lane Keeping and Following Assist, Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Avoidance Assist, and more. Infotainment is displayed through the 12.3-inch touchscreen navigation system; Apple Carplay and Android Auto compatible.

The IONIQ 5’s battery is covered by Hyundai’s 10-year, 100,000 miles powertrain warranty. Models are expected to hit dealerships Spring 2022.
