As it enters a fourth model year, Jaguar is giving the compact E-Pace utility a pleasant updating for 2021. When we first tested the E-Pace in 2018, we found it a nice compliment to the larger F-Pace, providing the marque an expanded lineup of SUVs that managed to embody the performance essence of the legendary sporty car brand. Updates for 2021 include an expected freshening mostly, at the front, with a new mesh infused grille that Jaguar says is more "assertive" in nature. New two strike LED headlights also add to the bolder appearance. The interior also appears bolder mostly due to a larger center stack 11.4-inch curved touchscreen that now reaches down lower towards the updated shifter and console. A wide variety of other interior detail changes, such as a new steering wheel and an expanded connectivity menu, will enhance the appeal of the revised E-Pace without making current owners feel their cat is dated. Powertain and running gear are carryover with two levels of the brand's 2.0-liter turbocharged I4 available. Both are attached to a 9-speed automatic with standard all-wheel drive.
