Jeep has unveiled their latest Wrangler special edition, the “High Tide” variant, along with a new “High Velocity” yellow color, for the 2022 model year.

The 2022 Jeep Wrangler High Tide starts at $50,835 with destination fees, available for order this month. The first 500 High Tides will be built as exclusive Jeep Beach models, featuring special Jeep Beach hood decals-- priced at the same MSRP.

Xtreme Recon Package outfitted on a 2021 Jeep Wrangler 392.

High Tide models start off as a Sport S, powered by Jeep’s Pentastar V6 mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. Then, the Xtreme Recon Package is added on top; this includes 35-inch BF Goodrich T/A KO2 tires wrapped around 17x8-inch beadlock-capable wheels, a 4.56 rear axle ratio, and a 1.5-inch lift with uniquely tuned shocks. The package shrouds the larger wheels with wheel flare extensions. Other Recon addons include a jack spacer, hinge-gate reinforcement and tire relocation kit, all courtesy of MOPAR.

The High Tide edition will then include a body-color hardtop, LED headlamps and fog lamps, rock rails, a Sunrider Fliptop for the hardtop, a Gorilla Glass windshield, sand and slush mats, and High Tide hood decals.

These special edition Wranglers can be lacquered in five exterior colors: Hydro Blue, Black, Bright White, StingGray, and the all-new High Velocity yellow. This color will be made available on all Wrangler models, sold with an additional price of $395.

The limited run of 500 “Jeep Beach” models are made to honor one of the Jeep community’s largest events: Jeep Beach week in Daytona, scheduled this year for April 25th-May 1st. The event attracts more than 200,000 attendees and more than 20,000 Jeep vehicles annually. To date, the event has helped raise more than $2.5 million for local and national charities.
