Kia has confirmed pricing of it's newest crossover, the subcompact and very urban oriented Seltos at $22,990 before delivery charges. That freight charge raises the final sticker price to $23,110. But, while the brand had previously said the MSRP would be just under $23,000, the surprise is that modest figure will buy both front and all-wheel drive versions. The price is the same for both a front-wheel drive Seltos in lower mid-level S trim. or an AWD version in base LX trim. Usually entry level base prices for crossovers do not include the all-weather capabilities of all-wheel drive. Both models usa a 2.0-liter four-cylinder with 146 horsepower and 132 pound-feet of torquewitha CVT transmission. The Seltos slips into Kia's expanding utility lineup between the Soul and the Sportage. While you may have seen the Seltos in yesterday's Super Bowl commercial, it will not  arrive in Kia showrooms until early spring.
