Mazda has announced that the upcoming CX-90 SUV will be available nationwide as a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV).

The 2024 CX-90 PHEV will serve as Mazda’s first plug-in hybrid offered in the United States. This new model has also been said to “maintain the responsiveness, performance and driving dynamics that define Mazda vehicles.”

While exact details are yet to be shared, we know that the CX-90 PHEV will use an all-new e-Skyactiv powertrain, said to be “tuned specifically for the North American market,” providing consumers with “the best of both worlds in terms of performance and efficiency.”

We’ll have plenty more on the 2024 Mazda CX-90 when it’s officially unveiled in January 2023.
