MINI USA is adding two special edition models to its lineup – the new 2021 MINI Cooper 1499 GT and the new 2021 MINI Countryman Oxford Edition.

The MINI Cooper 1499 GT celebrates the brand’s sporting heritage with a nod to one of the best known classic Minis of all time, the Mini 1275 GT.. The MINI Cooper 1499 GT features stealthy Midnight Black Metallic exterior paint and gold 1499 GT side stripes, and comes standard with 17” Track Spoke Black Wheels.  Also included is the MINI John Cooper Works styling package with distinctive front and rear bumpers, side skirts, split level spoiler and door entry plates. Under the hood, a 1.5-liter 3-cylinder engine delivers 134 hp and 162 ft-lbs. of torque, good for 0 – 60 mph in 7.5 seconds. A 6-Speed Manual Transmission is standard, and a 7-Speed Dual-Clutch Transmission is optional.  On the interior, the MINI Cooper 1499 GT features John Cooper Works Sports seats and steering wheel with Chili Red stitching, along with Piano Black trim throughout. Pricing starts at $27,935.

 

MINI’s most versatile model, the MINI Countryman, is now offering a value-packed Oxford Edition as both a Cooper and Cooper ALL4 variant, specially configured with $5,600 worth of standard equipment at no additional cost. This special edition comes with leatherette upholstery, 8.8” display with Bluetooth, rear camera and rear park distance control, 7-speed dual clutch transmission and a panoramic sunroof, in addition to LED Headlights, Fog Lights and Union Jack LED Taillights. Upgraded 18”wheels in either Silver or Black with Run Flat Tires, anthracite headliner, heated front seats, automatic climate control, and a choice of six exterior colors that includes British Racing Green IV metallic, Midnight Black metallic, White Silver metallic, Moonwalk Grey metallic, Chili Red, or Island Blue metallic. Exterior options also include body color roof and mirrors, or choice of a contrast white or black roof and mirror combination.  The 2021 MINI Cooper Countryman Oxford Edition carries a base price of $27,395. ALL4 Oxford Edition is $29,395.
