Set for its pubic debut at next month's Frankfurt Motor Show, the next installment of the new Mercedes-AMG brand will carry the C63 nameplate. The all-new 2017 C63 AMG 4MATIC Coupe is only the second car for the Mercedes-AMG model line-up.  Mercedes-AMG has made modifications that are visible at first sight and give the C63 Coupe a muscular look. These include flared front and rear wheel arches, an increased track width and larger wheels.   The new C63 also comes equipped with the AMG 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine, with 469 horsepower in standard trim. For those who want a bit more muscle, consumers can opt for the 503 horsepower that comes equipped in the C63 S.

"The new AMG C63 Coupe embodies our conception of progress: It offers impressive longitudinal and lateral dynamics at an extremely high level along with improved fuel economy," said Tobias Moers, Chairman of the Board of Management of Mercedes-AMG GmbH. "In addition, we are making a bold visual statement with the muscular design. Our customers can therefore experience the progress with each of their senses: seeing, hearing, feeling and, above all, driving!"

The 2017 Mercedes-AMG C63 Coupe will be available in the U.S. beginning in the summer of 2016.
