Nissan is making it a little easier to back up.  The company has announced what they call the Intelligent Rear View Mirror.  It’s an LCD monitor built in to the traditional rearview mirror.  The idea is to give you a better view of what’s going on behind the vehicle, when tall passengers and whatever you’re hauling gets in the way.  The 2018 Nissan Armada will be the first to offer the new technology.  Look for it in dealerships next month.

BMW is making electric driving a little more exciting.  The company is including a BMW i3s, to go along with the BMW i3.  The BMW i3s has a sportier chassis, wider track and higher performance output.  Both models get standard full LED headlights.  They also get the latest iDrive 6 interface.  The compact battery-electric vehicles will make their world premieres at the International Motor Show in Frankfurt in September.
