Today Porsche unveiled a freshened Panamera lineup for 2021. All models received attention in an effort to invigorate and broaden the appeal of Porsche’s largest car. For enthusiasts the news is great as the rework includes major changes to the internals for Porsche’s 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine. Output rises to 620-hp, a gain of 70, with an extra 37 lb-ft of torque for a total of 604. Most other models also see gains in output, and that includes the Panamera 4S E-Hybrid which adds a 27% higher capacity battery for an anticipated similar gain in EV-only range. As with most mid-cycle revamps, the exterior receives minor changes but does include making the SportDesign front facia standard on most models. The 2021 Porsche Panamera will arrive here next spring.
