Car companies love to tempt us with teases.  The latest is from Cadillac.  Over the weekend, two of Cadillac’s V-Series prototypes took to the track at the Chevrolet Detroit Grand Prix.

We know two new models are being added to the company’s V-Series performance line-up.  The 2020 CT4-V gets a 320-horsepower 2.7-liter turbo I-4. 355-horsepower will charge out of the 3.0-liter twin turbo V-6 in the CT5-V.  Both get a 10-speed automatic, Brembo front brakes, and Magnetic Ride Control 4.0 specifically tuned for V models. Underpinning both is Cadillac’s rear-wheel-drive Alpha architecture.  All wheel drive is available.

These two performance minded Cadillacs join the CT6-V introduced this year. The 2020 Cadillac CT4-V and CT5-V go on sale early next year.
